Lamisil Cream is a prescription drug and may cause some drugs to interact with each other. You should not use this product if you are taking other drugs called nitrates (often given for chest pain) because these may affect the blood pressure and the drug may interact with them. Nitrates may reduce the blood pressure. These medicines include phenobarbital, phenytoin, and carbamazepine. Lamisil Cream is not recommended for use in patients with severe heart disease or a recent stroke. It may affect the heart rhythm. Blood pressure may fall; this may lead to fainting or dizziness. Do not drive or do anything that requires alertness until you have used the product. Do not share Lamisil Cream with others.
If you are using Lamisil Cream and your doctor decides that you are not likely to get an erection when using nitrates, use nitrates at least twice during your treatment, usually in the morning and evening, at the lowest effective dose (usually one gram of nitrates in 1 to 2 hours) for the shortest possible time. Do not use nitrates more often than necessary.
